Exhibitions: contemporary art

In 1994, as a Brera student, I exhibited for the first time thanks to Salon Primo. Today, as a professor, I want to give back: with Milan's iKonica Gallery and the Academy's patronage, on June 12, 2026, we will showcase our young talents to promote art, dialogue, and new collectors.

There is no single way of being a woman. There is no one image, no single voice.

The exhibition stems from the idea of exploring the relationship between language, symbol, and visual identity through different artistic paths, all united by a reflection on the sign as a primary form of communication. "Codes and Signs" brings together sensibilities, techniques, and contemporary visions spanning painting, matter, gesture, and conceptual research.

The artist works in series, turning her attention to the urban landscape, nature, and contemporary society. Her research focuses predominantly on the night-time hours or at dusk, when chromatic nuances reveal the mystery inherent in places.

In his works, Andrea Failla succeeds in bringing together a spiritual and cosmic dimension alongside a more earthly one, rooted in human nature.

AmbientArti brings together artists from around the world, each with an original contemporary language and a shared goal: to imagine new forms of conscious art.

Blue Baroque is an exhibtion that offers no definitive answers, but opens a space of wonder: a place where science and myth, rather than excluding each other, are reflected in one another, like two different stories of the same inexhaustible beauty.

iKonica Art Gallery presents “Dancing with Sand”, the first solo exhibition in Milan by the German artist Bernd Caspar Dietrich, scheduled from March 30 to April 11, 2026. On display are approximately 25 works offering a significant insight into the artist’s material-based research.

In Con Anima C Corpus. Labirinti umani, Nocchi explores faces and bodies through a rapid, deliberately elusive line, slightly distorted contours, and selective colors that transcend objective reality to penetrate the deeper dimension of being. The figures, never complete, engage in dialogue with geometric elements that frame their fragility and complexity. In Ritorno all’oro, Santoli instead interprets art as an evolutionary and cathartic experience: color becomes an intimate, nonverbal language capable of giving shape to emotions and inner perceptions. The rounded surfaces, illuminated by golden backgrounds, evoke light, energy, and preciousness, transforming the painted matter into a space of revelation.

We have created a dynamic journey, enriched by a variety of artistic techniques and methods, aimed at presenting each individual artist. This time, no specific theme was assigned in order to allow the artists the freedom—working in coordination with the curator—to present the works that best represent them.

The two-person exhibitionI - Isaia Antonaci "ATTRAVERSO IL NERO" | Lucio Forte "RECENT WORKS" - brings together two distinct yet surprisingly complementary artistic paths: on one side, the deep and radical investigation by I. Antonaci; on the other, the analytical and imaginative gaze of L. Forte.
